The Action Plan for Migratory Fish was created by the Cape Fear River Partnership in order to restore migratory fish habitat in the Cape Fear River.

A major accomplishment has been the modification of Lock and Dam #1 near Reigelwood, NC. The rock arch rapids will allow migratory fish easier access to natural spawning grounds upriver. The rocks were placed in a way that resembles natural streams. The Action Plan hopes to implement similar ramps at Lock and Dams #2 & #3.
